Welcome to TACTICAL BLEED CONTROL (TBC). By accessing or using our website, products, or services, including purchasing physical kits or attending STOP THE BLEED® courses, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use our services or make a purchase.

1. About Us

TACTICAL BLEED CONTROL (TBC) is a South African company dedicated to providing life-saving bleeding control training and related equipment.

2. Use of Our Website

You may use our website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

  • Hack, copy, reproduce, or redistribute any content without our written consent

  • Use our site to post unlawful or harmful content

  • Attempt to interfere with website functionality

All content, including text, images, logos, videos, and course materials, is owned by TBC or our licensors. STOP THE BLEED® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Defense, and its use is strictly limited to authorized courses and materials.

3. Purchases & Payments

  • All sales of products or courses are final unless otherwise stated.

  • Payment methods accepted include credit/debit cards and EFT.

  • Prices are in ZAR and include applicable taxes.

  • Once your payment is received, an order confirmation email will be sent.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • All deliveries are handled by The Courier Guy.

  • Major cities: typically 2–4 working days

  • Outlying areas/farms: may take longer

  • Delivery may be affected by weather, peak seasons, or unrest.

  • Shipping fees are a flat R150 per order (up to 5kg) unless a promotional code applies.

  • Orders are usually packed and ready for dispatch the next business day.

5. Returns & Refunds

  • Applies only to physical kits and equipment.

  • STOP THE BLEED® courses are subject to a separate cancellation and refund policy.

  • Returns are allowed if the product is:

    • Incorrectly delivered

    • Damaged or defective

  • Requests must be made within 5 calendar days of delivery.

  • Refunds exclude original shipping fees.

  • Buyers are responsible for return shipping or drop-off.

  • Proof of purchase may be required if TBC reasonably requests it.

  • Replacement or exchange is subject to stock availability and supplier approval.

6. Courses & Training

  • All STOP THE BLEED® courses require registration and payment in advance.

  • Recommended participant age: 12 years and older.

    • Younger children may be allowed at TBC’s discretion, based on safety and course suitability.

  • Course attendance requires following safety instructions.

  • Certificates are issued upon successful completion.

  • TBC is not liable for any injuries or accidents during training, or for loss or damage to participants’ personal belongings.

7. Intellectual Property

All materials on this site, including course content, images, and branding, are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, distribute, or reproduce materials without written consent.

  • STOP THE BLEED® and its logo are registered trademarks of the U.S. Department of Defense.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • TBC is not liable for:

    • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

    • Misuse of kits or failure to follow training

    • Errors on the website, including pricing or product availability

    • Injuries or accidents during hands-on courses

  • Products and information are provided “as-is”.

9. Privacy, POPIA & GDPR

  • We respect your privacy and collect data only to:

    • Process orders and course bookings

    • Send marketing communications (with your consent)

    • Improve our services

  • By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive marketing communications in compliance with POPIA (South Africa) and GDPR (EU).

10. Third-Party Products

  • Kits may be sourced from third-party suppliers.

  • Replacement or exchange may be subject to supplier policies.

  • TBC is not responsible for errors, delays, or defects caused by third-party suppliers.

11. Modifications to Terms

  • TBC may update these Terms at any time.

  • Updates will be effective immediately upon posting to the website.

  • Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.

  • Any disputes will be subject to the courts of South Africa.
